While one cannot expect to substitute real training on dangerous devices with any other means, chainsaw training videos have their place.
They enlighten and
prepare the future user (student) for the risks and hazards of using a chainsaw
and felling a tree, and they make him aware of all the bad practices he might
see around him, performed by people that are too smart to take an instruction
class.
It so happened we
stumbled on two such very good training films on chainsaw use and tree felling.
